In the first year of the Thanksgiving Hoopfest, over 1400 spectators witnessed the best basketball Dallas/Fort Worth has seen in recent memory. This event was created to give die-hard basketball enthusiast an opportunity to let their Thanksgiving meals digest while watching the best basketball in the state. Last year’s attendance nearly tripled the previous year as 4,000 spectators and 3 McDonald All-American voters watched many games that are still being talked about today.
